Veneer
With dental veneers, we correct discolorations, gaps or irregularities in the front tooth area: single teeth can be corrected or even complete front tooth rows can be restored with limited risk of damaging the tooth substance. Veneers are exceptional by their natural looks. Nevertheless, in the approach it is clarified whether, if necessary, an orthodontic pre-treatment seems more sensible by our orthodontist Konsilius or also a sole jaw-orthopaedic treatment. Time involved, financial expenditure and essential substance loss of own teeth must lead from case to case definitely to the aesthetically best, but also functionally the most sensible therapy.

Inlay
Ceramic inlays are tooth-coloured. They are custom- fabricated in our own lab and can be distinguished by their longevity and compatibility. In addition, we can offer you computer-milled inlays from full ceramic, so-called Cerec inlays at a good competitive price The usual impression is substituted, on this occasion, with an optical impression by means of camera and afterwards the inlay is milled directly by the computer. If medically indicated, the preparation and insertion of the ceramic inlay can be done within a single visit to the dentist.
 

Plastic
In the case of minor defects like split off enamel parts and chipped edges in the front – and side tooth area, we work with high-quality plastics / composite treatment. Depending on the case, these plastics contain ceramic particles; they are very stable. Nowadays even major defects on the side teeth can be treated instantly with these plastics without a previous dental cast. The first step in performing a composite filling procedure involves isolation of the tooth by an elastic protection (known as cofferdam), as it prevents moisture from interfering with the insertion of these fillings and the bonding process. This process allows for clean and speedy work. The filling itself is placed over the opening in layers of different plastics and colours which can be adapted to every required colour. We aim for a most durable and stable restoration which blends with the remainder of the surrounding tooth structure. We provide a six month guarantee on every filling subject to a regular bi-annual check-up.
